This visit was emotional for everyone. Eleven weeks ago, Bobby suffered a severe head injury. He was only released from the hospital last week. In this family is mom, Bobby, and his brother, Micah. Mom was told one person would be bringing her a few presents before we arrived. Little did she know that her small trailer would be rocked by the love of her community, including those first respondents who came to Bobby’s aid the day of his accident. A long line patiently waited in the pouring rain to share their love and hope with and for this family! Bobby and his brother had so much excitement and joy in their voices, and mom shrilled with joy for her gift, a vacuum. Yes, a simple vacuum because they needed one for so long. Love busted through the tin roof as Bobby asked to kiss and hug everyone.
